Description

The Hyacinth Tiered Circle Skirt is a versatile design that can be made with any number of tiers to suit your style. The first tier is a true circle skirt, made to reduce bulk at the waist. Lower tiers can be made in even lengths or varied in length to add dimension.

Use this calculator to size pattern pieces and determine yardage for a stunning full skirt. Lightweight fabrics with drape are recommended including cotton lawn, crepe de chine, and challis. Fabrics with less drape will make the skirt stand out wide. Sew the full skirt from one fabric or mix the tiers in complimentary colors or prints.

Instructions for sewing the skirt with a waistband or dress bodice are here on the blog. You’ll need a zipper closure to fit the finished skirt.
